David is 31 years old and has been selling memorable vacation experiences for eight years. David has traveled to over thirty different countries throughout Europe, Asia, the Caribbean, and the Americas (including Hawaii). He is fluent in Spanish and German. David decided to attend Travel School after touring Europe for six weeks with nothing but $2,000 and a plane ticket. David has traveled his whole life and uses his expertise to help others with their travel plans. He's has done professional site inspections at over one hundred hotels and lodges in Alaska, British Columbia and the Yukon Territory. David helps his clients get the most from their vacations whether it be to Alaska or Western Canada by helping them plan their tours, activities, or custom itineraries for the more adventurous.
Frank Wagner - Independent Travel Consultant
Frank's background, surprisingly, is in the highly competitive computer software field. He spent five years in top level sales and marketing management with three large computer software firms as well as a junior sales associate with a number of successful entrepreneurial software businesses. Frank brings his business and customer service background to our firm. He has been directly involved in the travel industry for the last 6 years in both a management and travel consultant role. Frank has also traveled extensively both domestically and abroad and shares a passion for both Alaska, British Columbia and the Yukon Territory. He also is a firm believer that customer service, excellent personal product knowledge and individuality are the main components of a top travel consultant.
Sharon Miller - Office Manager & Travel Consultant
Sharon has over 10 years experience in the Travel Industry as both a Travel Agent and an Agency Manager. Sharon has managed both Business Travel and Leisure Travel Services, individual and group. She understands, completely, the day to day intricacies of managing a Travel Business as well as the many rules and regulations in today’s complex Travel environment. Sharon has traveled extensively, both domestically and abroad. She is a firm believer that Customer Service and Product Knowledge are the main components of a top Travel Consultant. Her focus is on putting together the best vacation package at the best value and is completely familiar with which suppliers to use to accomplish that. Sharon specializes in Self Drives, Group Vacations, Incentive Trips, and Destination Tour Packages.
Robert Bates - Co-Owner - Tour Package Development, Webmaster
Robert opened the USA subsidiary of the Travel Network Group LLC in 2006. Originally a professional independent tourism marketing consultant (MBA), Robert began organizing group, incentive and individual tours. The travel bug became too appealing and he left his previous organization to open a subsidiary for the Travel Network Group LLC. Robert and his wife reside in San Francisco. For over 15 years, Robert has organized, conducted and planned tours within the USA, Canada, Asia, Australia, New Zealand and Europe as well as run the everyday operations of his tourism marketing agency. Robert has traveled all over the world and brings this knowledge into his work in helping people and travel agents to plan the special vacation for their clients.
Tom Stoddard - Franchise Division Manager, Staff Training, Co-Owner of the Travel Network Group LLC
Tom responsibilities includes the management of the USA franchise division of the Travel Network Group LLC, the staff training and marketing. Motto: Any company is only as good as its staff and I am privileged to be part of a team which has a passion for travel and many years of combined travel experience. Each member of the team offers a wealth of knowledge unrivalled by most companies and there are very few states of which we do not have first-hand knowledge. My own love for travel developed when I lived in London, UK Barcelona, Spain and Montreal, Canada. I have worked in the travel industry for 25 years and have been very fortunate to have had the opportunity to travel extensively. My specialist areas include Alaska, the Yukon Territory, Quebec and the world-class Ski Areas of British Columbia/Alberta.
